Learn Free Motion Quilting using your own machine!  This class takes place 9-4 each day,  in the downstairs of United Methodist Church, 410 N. Main Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.  This class is taught by master quilter, Nancy Stockman, from Fayette, Iowa.  Students bring the following to class:

  1.  Sewing machine with the ability to lower or cover the feed dogs (or) set the stitch length to zero
  2. Darning or free motion foot
  3. Topstitch needles size 80 or 90
  4. 50wt white thread, 2 or 3 filled bobbins
  5. (2) 1-yard cuts of muslin, sandwiched with batting
  6. 1 fat quarter of a fabric with an obvious print–motifs of animals or florals preferable;
  7. Muslin and batting to sandwich
